RADIO: THE BOB HOPE SHOW, I.

THE FIRST COLLECTION OF BOB HOPE RADIO PROGRAMS.

THE BOB HOPE SHOW was one of the longest-running radio programs in the golden age of American radio. The serialization aired from nineteen thirty-five to nineteen fifty-five and is still considered one of the all-time greats when it comes to old-time radio comedies. Hope was a sharp, quick-fire comedic, that had audiences laughing until their sides hurt. Adding to the entertainment value of this series of old radio shows, Hope ensured that his guests were always interesting and persons worthy of note. This formula kept The Bob Hope Show on in households for little over two decades.
